CFH and Macular Degeneration

RNAi
CFH does not have an homolog in either Drosophila or C. elegans, which are the two organisms with which most RNAi experiments are done. I did a blast search in C. elegans on wormbase for CFH's protein and selected the top hit. The corresponding gene was lev-9, encoding an extracellular protein and named for its mutants' resistance to levamisole.
